How much do programs cost?

Our program rates vary but range from $1,895 to $4,000. Please see individual program descriptions for full details.

How many participants are there on a program?

All programs have a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 12.

What is included in the price of the program?

The program fee includes: a Crooked Trails guide, local community guides, all park and monument fees, all accommodations, porters where relevant, donations to villages, all in-country transportation, food during homestays, and some other meals. The number of additional meals included varies depending on the program. For example, in India and Nepal all trekking meals are included in the program fee. Please see individual program descriptions for full details.

Will I need additional money?

You are responsible for some meals in country, airport departure taxes, international flights to the destination country, tips for local guides (if you wish), and any extra purchases you would like to make to support the local economy.

Do I need travel insurance?
