George Mauer

George is a HR/Organization Development Consultant. He is an accomplished, innovative executive and HR professional with extensive experience in providing system leadership to the people side of organizations. He is skilled in strategy, organization change and employee development, labor relations and operations. He has authored numerous articles on organization performance. In addition to his MA in Organization Psychology George has a BA in Political Science focusing on international relations. Politically active, he was a candidate for the Shoreline City Council, past president of the Richmond Beach Community Council, Shoreline Planning Task Force and appointed to the King County Council on Aging. In addition to Crooked Trails, George is a member of the University Rotary Club Board and Vice-Chair of its’ International Service committee. George has two children, Melia, who practices law and presently lives on Queen Ann with husband, Bryan, also an attorney. His son, Randy, completed his Peace Corps volunteer assignment in the Dominican Republic in December ’07. George has traveled to the Caribbean, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Italy. When not traveling or otherwise occupied with politics George pursues the wily trout with a fly on his line.
